Last night was homecoming for the Natomas Nighthawks and things were festive off the field.
They remained roughly the same on the football field as the Nighthawks were routed by the Woodland Wolves 48-0. It was the second straight shutout for the Nighthawks, who played a relatively strong first half.
Natomas cheerleaders, ROTC, band, and students provided halftime entertainment as homecoming royalty was crowned.
It was all Woodland after that as they scored 20 points in the third quarter alone.
Final score, 48-0.
Meanwhile, the Inderkum Tigers defeated the Yuba City Honkers on the road 35-21. Inderkum remains tied with Woodland atop the Tri-County Standings.
