The Natomas Unified School District Board of Trustees have reacted to the Governor’s proposal to make the largest funding cuts to education in the history of California.
Trustees this week adopted a resolution in opposition to the proposed cuts, which would amount to an estimated $5 million in 2008-09 for the district.
Please check out a copy of this resolution, NUSD Superintendent Steve Farrar’s response to the proposed budget cuts along with a break down of how these cuts will affect our neighborhood classrooms.
Farrar has also included information on how to contact local legislative representatives and let them know what YOU think about cutting even more from our state’s public education.
