Looks like crime was down in January 2008 compared to the same period last year, according to these reports provided by the Sacramento Police Department for comparison purposes.
“For January 2008 there was a reduction in the category of Robbery, Assaults, Burglary (significant reduction) and thefts. Hopefully we will continue to see these numbers drop as we work together on quality of life issues in Natomas,” writes north command Capt. Jeff Schiele.

Stemmler Drive @ Poppy Hill Way
Three traffic enforcement units worked a neighborhood traffic complaint at Stemmler Drive and Poppy Hill Way. Ten (10) tickets were issued for motorist running the stop sign at the intersection.
