Weekend Crime Reports from SacPD

2-03-08 1:00 AM, Stabbing,
Broadwater Way*
A 20 year-old male was stabbed during a party on Broadwater Way. The Victim sustained serious injuries, but is expected to survive. The resident and those attending the party were uncooperative with the officers who responded to investigate the crime. This case will be followed-up by our Homicide/Assaults Detectives.

2-03-08, Hit & Run Accident,
San Juan and Truxel Road
Officers responded to the area of San Juan and Truxel regarding a hit and run collision. The victim of the hit and run had called 911 on her cell phone and was following the suspect vehicle westbound on Garden Highway into the county. A Sheriff’s Deputy located the suspect vehicle which resulted in a vehicle pursuit. The vehicle pursuit ended at Garden Highway and Elverta Road. The driver was arrested for Hit & Run, Drunk Driving & Evading a Police Officer.

2-01-08, 4:30 PM, Suspicious Occupied Vehicle,
Northgate and San Juan Road
Beat Officers were working in the Northgate neighborhood in response to the increase of armed robberies. Officers spotted a vehicle matching the description of the one used in the Cigarette Store robbery. As the vehicle stopped, the driver ran from the officers. A perimeter was set up in the neighborhood and an extensive search was conducted. The suspect was not located by the responding officers. The Neighborhood Crime Detectives will follow-up with the registered owner.
