Copies of Superintendent Steve Farrar’s response to the governor’s proposed education budget cuts have been mailed to and received by parents throughout the Natomas Unified School District.
Farrar’s letter and accompanying financial impact report now have parents all abuzz with questions like: “Will there be parent forums to discuss how budget cuts would impact the district?”
Also, there are rumors swirling around that the H. Allen Hight Learning Center on North Park Drive will not open this fall as originally planned.
Natomas Unified School District trustees might take up the issue at their Feb. 13 and March 1 meetings.
