THE BUZZ asked readers “You live in North Natomas. What would you most like to see happen?”
Our poll closed Feb. 29 and the results are in.
“More police visibility and less overall crime” came out on top with 51% of the votes while “the levees repaired and flood hazard reduced” came in second with 34%.
“Better traffic enforcement on area streets” and “a viable mass transportation solution that benefits everyone” tied for third with 5% each.
Surprise, surprise, not one person voted for “development where there is open land.” That’s 0% people.
Let that be a message to city officials and developers who propose to keep building despite high residential and retail vacancy rates, record foreclosure rates throughout the region, lackluster city support services, and a levee system in desperate need of repair.
THE BUZZ records 100 or more hits a day, so we appreciate the 70 votes we received. Have another issue you would like THE BUZZ to poll its readers about? Send us a message here.
