But what is the political relevance?
Magic Johnson is has become a major power player in urban redevelopment. He has targeted major cities and boosted millions of dollars into their urban and blighted areas, including Harlem, Compton and other LA Areas, and Nashville. He is the ONLY owner of a partnership Starbucks that serves urban communities.
