Cat Burglars Hit North Natomas
Have your neighbors keeping an eye out for strange cars parked on your street late (or early morning) at night and call your neighborhood security patrol or Sac PD.
Between May 1-3, a series of “cat” burglaries were reported:
5/1/08 between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m., 2100 block of Moonstone (Natomas Park)
Suspects entered through an open side window. They stole personal items from inside the house along with car keys while the residents slept upstairs. They took the victims car from the drive way. The car is still listed as stolen. The description is a Black 4-door 2002 Acura TL, License Plate 4UHL107.
5/2/08 between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.,3100 block of Sparrow Drive (Gateway West)
Suspects entered through an unlocked sliding glass door and took personal items while the residents slept upstairs. A possible suspect car is a black mid-size car (possibly the stolen car from previous incident?).
5/3/08 between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m., 3600 block of Viader Way (Gateway West)
Suspects entered through an open or unlocked window while the residents slept in the house. The suspects took personal items.
