The North Natomas Alliance meets at 7:30 p.m. on May 8 at The Club at Natomas Park to discuss issues facing North Natomas. Here’s a peek at what’s on the agenda:
- How about those levees? Do you agree there should be an effort to get them fixed SOONER rather than LATER? Scott Dosick will be our first speaker, he will apprise you of what the Fix It Now! group is doing, and will ask for input.
- The North Natomas Finance Plan has been minutely studied over the past few months. City staff has put forth a plan to further reduce developer fees. The fear of the working group is all North Natomas will receive out of the deal are empty promises for services.
- There will be an update on the North Natomas Police Substation.
- MORE HIGH DENSITY IN NORTH NATOMAS. The Community Plan calls for a certain percentage of low, medium and high density housing be built within each Planned Unit Development. The low and medium density portion of Natomas Meadows by Pardee Homes has been put on extended HOLD, but they are still forging ahead with the Willow Glen Apartments, which were to be fulfilling the Low Income requirement for the entire PUD, which will not be built in the foreseeable future.
- Copies of the new 2008-09 school schedule for Natomas Unified School District will be available.
