Friends of the North Natomas Regional Park and Councilperson Ray Tretheway are teaming up to host the inaugural Spirit of Natomas.
This will be a fun family event to capitalize on the tremendous interest that the residents of Natomas have in the development of the North Natomas Regional Park.
Spirit of Natomas will be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 17 at the North Natomas Regional Park duck ponds located at the corner of North Park Drive and Natomas Boulevard.
Local restaurants are bringing free samples of their offerings for everyone to try, a favorite local band will be playing (the Natomas Tornados) and a jump house will be set up as well as other family friendly activities.

It would be awesome if there was a HUGE turnout to show we’d like to see this promised fulfilled before our kids leave home for college.
Many of us bought in North Natomas because of promises of light rail, REGIONAL PARK, etc.
Its too bad this event isn’t later in the day. It is scheduled during many baseball/softball games. I am sure there are other organized sports going on as well. I’d like to attend, but will be sitting at the baseball field.
