The Natomas Unified School District board of trustee’s is holding a special meeting tonight to discuss the issue of restitution in the Harding case.
In a Sac Bee report last month Superintendent Steve Farrar indicated the school district would not pursue restitution.
In an e-mail message to Creekside-area residents, trustee Lisa Kaplan wrote: “The District is cooperating with the District Attorney’s Office as they take the lead in deciding how and if restitution is to take place. Be assured that we will continue to protect the financial and education interests of our children and taxpayers.”
