In partnership with The Sacramento Bee, and as part of the Camellia Symphony’s commitment to education in the community, the symphony presents this season’s family concerts for the young and the young at heart.
Delight and stimulate your senses. Experience the sights and sounds, and even the touch and smell of the orchestral instruments. Get a “taste” of great classical and light popular music.
This year’s concerts will feature perennial favorites: Peter and the Wolf (with narrator and puppets), Night on Bald Mountain (from Fantasia) and the lovely Sleeping Beauty Waltz. The Richard Bay Puppet Theatre will join the orchestra for these terrific events sure to delight the whole family with wonderful story-telling and some of the world’s greatest music.
The instrument petting zoo begins at 1 p.m., and the concert begins at 2 p.m. The series kicks off Sept. 28 at Natomas High School.
