Many of you heard about the house fire in Witter Ranch on Tuesday. Joe and Maria Silva and their three daughters lost their home and all of their belongings.
The Sacramento North Soccer Club is coordinating a relief effort to help the family out. The Club itself is donating much-needed cash to the Silvas, and a new uniform, cleats, shin guards and a ball for one of their daughters. It’s a small gesture that may help the family escape the stress for a couple of hours, and to help them get back into their normal routine.
You too can make a donation, which can be dropped off at the home of Beth Still, U10 Scream’s team mom, at 29 Cakebread Circle, Sacramento, CA 95834. Monetary donations can either be mailed or hand delivered to the same address and made out to Joe Silva, or they can be deposited directly into their recently opened trust account at Washington Mutual. The account number is 4222090592.
The Silvas have literally lost everything. From clothes to school supplies to hair clips.
- One child is in the 3rd grade at Witter Ranch and wears size 10 clothes and size 3 shoe.
- Another wears an adult medium and size 7 shoe.
- The third wears an adult large and size 8 1/2 shoe.
Anything you can donate will be very much appreciated… Clothing, gift cards, anything!
Let’s show this family how Natomas can shine in their time of need!
The Natomas Mother’s Group is going to work on getting some things for this family. Can you tell us what the ages are of the other 2 daughters?
The other two daughters are 17 (adult size M, 7 shoe) and 21 (adult size L and shoe size 8 1/2).
Thank you Natomas Mother’s Group!
Sincerely,
Erik Mason
