Less than two months after BORDERS closes its doors, temporary bookstore CROWN BOOKS celebrates its grand opening in the Park Place II shopping center.
Kelvin Thurston, district manager for CROWN BOOKS of Southern California, reports the discount bookseller has signed on to open a “temporary” bookstore in the 15,000 square foot retail spot. The current plan is to operate at that location for about a year, doubling as a Halloween store during the fall.
