Happening This Week At Natomas-Area Schools

  • The Inderkum High girls’ softball team won their first league championship last week in an extra-inning game and this week the team begins play-offs. Way to go!
  • Heron School eighth grader Erika Sims has been selected a Youth of the Month for the City of Sacramento and received her award Tuesday. Congrats, Erika!
  • The Natomas Unified School District Board of Trustees meeting with continued discussion of the declining budget situation, 6:30 p.m. TONIGHT in the Education Center. Click here to see the agenda – the Heron School bell choir is scheduled to perform at 6:50 p.m.!
  • “From School to the Street…When Nighthawks Fly,” an art show of Natomas High seniors continues through May 23 at La Raza Galeria Posada, 1022 22nd St., Sacramento.
