The Sacramento Business Journal reports today that developer Opus West, a unit of Opus Corp., may file for bankruptcy.
An excerpt:
“Opus West has developed several large office and retail projects in the Sacramento region in the past few years. In Natomas, the company built two office buildings in the Gateway Corporate Center and a retail development near Truxel Boulevard.“
Opus manages The Promenade Shopping Center (Barnes & Noble, Target, etc.) and The Village Shopping Center (Mizu, Center Court, etc.) across the street. Opus also has Corporate Center in Roseville, Broadstone Plaza in Folsom and Rocklin Corporate Plaza.
