Divine Mercy Parish to Celebrate “First Church” Blessing
The first Roman Catholic parish will in North Natomas will open its doors at Divine Mercy’s “First Church” this Saturday.
Bishop Jaime Soto will preside over a special blessing and dedication Mass with assistance from Divine Mercy Pastor, Father Cesar Ageas, and invited clergy from throughout the Sacramento Diocese.
Divine Mercy Catholic Church is the 100th parish in the Sacramento Diocese. It has been active in the Natomas community since 2004 and will continue to serve in its ministry at its permanent home.
Parishioners will also lead guided tours through the “First Church” tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday, throughout those days. Contact Venus Stromberg Bird for information on tour times or any other information.
