The National Weather Service has issued a strong wind advisory for the Sacramento region through 11 p.m. Tuesday.
A wind advisory means that sustained winds up to 39 mph are possible with gusts up to 57 mph. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles, can cause minor property damage, as well as down branches and small trees. Residents are advised to secure loose object on their property that could be affected by the wind.
