According to a report today by the Sacramento Business Journal, Kaiser Permanente purchased land for a medical office building in Natomas.
The 12.2-acre property is located near Interstate 80 off of Gateway Park and North Freeway Boulevard. The site does not include land currently occupied by two unfinished restaurants facing Truxel Road which is in receivership.
The new Kaiser property was previously slated for office and commercial development by Opus West Corp. which filed for bankruptcy last year. It was bank owned when purchased by the health care provider.
