Sac PD has arrested made an arrest in the shooting death of Gregory Lewis over the weekend in the Northgate/Gardenland area of Natomas.
Lewis, 39, was shot during the early-morning hours of June 5 near Northgate Boulevard and West El Camino Avenue. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Detectives received information that identified Carlton Reid, 35, as a possible suspect in the murder. Detectives believe that Reid and Lewis knew each other and the murder was narcotic related.
The Career Criminal Apprehension Team located Reid near 16th and P streets at 6:30 p.m. on June 7. He was taken into custody without incident.
