Sources tell THE BUZZ construction is under way at the former Pei Wei restaurant in the Sacramento Gateway shopping center off North Freeway.
The new, family-owned eatery Tokyo Steakhouse is reportedly similar to Benihana. When the restaurant will open depends on the city permit process, but our sources estimate it will be by summer’s end.

That is so exciting! I love that style of restaurant and as a unique venue, should do well in that high-traffic area.
