The Sacramento Regional Transit District (RT) invites you to an informational discussion about the impact of the Green Line to the Airport light rail extension project in your neighborhood.
Thursday, August 12, 2010 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. South Natomas Community Center Conference Room 2921 Truxel Road
The Green Line, also referred to as the Downtown Natomas Airport light rail extension, will provide an additional 12.8 miles of light rail service from downtown Sacramento to the River District, the Natomas communities and the Sacramento International Airport.
How will the Green Line to the Airport project ensure the character of a safe and accessible neighborhood? How can light rail enhance your property values? This is your opportunity to discuss these topics in detail and provide significant input on the project prior to RT’s Green Line Community Review, which will be held on Wednesday, August 25 through Saturday, August 28, 2010.
The Green Line Community Review is an interactive and collaborative community planning workshop that will create a shared vision and further define a cost-effective light rail project that integrates within the neighborhoods and surrounding communities that the Green Line will serve.
