Natomas resident Angelique Ashby sworn in Tuesday night as the newest Sacramento City Council member.
Councilwoman Ashby was elected during the June primary to represent District 1 which includes Alkali Flat, Downtown, The River District/Richards Boulevard, North and South Natomas, and Gardenland-Northgate. She officially took her place on the council after being sworn in yesterday.
