Families living on Rockmont Circle and their friends are giving thanks this year by collecting food to donate to The GreenHouse, which helps families in South Natomas.
“Giving to charities is good, keeping it in OUR community is even better,” say food drive coordinators Shelby and Laura.
The two women have set up a food collection bin and have asked folks to bring over things from their pantries or to add items to their grocery lists to help feed families in need this Thanksgiving.They plan to collect food through Nov. 17 and deliver all donated items the following day to The Green House.
