Kudos: Dave Cook Recognized For His Volunteerism

DAVE COOK WITH FAMILY AFTER RECEIVING HIS AWARD.

Natomas resident Dave Cook was honored Nov. 30 with an honorable mention award for his community service efforts at the Sacramento County’s Heroes of Human Services awards banquet.

Cook performs volunteer work throughout Sacramento and Natomas, including coaching youth baseball for the North Natomas Little League and coaching youth soccer for the Sacramento North Soccer Club.

Cook also built a special needs bed for a child diagnosed with lissencephaly, volunteers at the Ronald Macdonald House with his family, remodeled a home to make it ADA accessible for a family in need, delivered new mattresses to homeless shelters and worked on the Fort Natomas rebuild in 2006.
