Work continues on the new fire station being constructed in West Natomas. Crews most recently removed the median on El Centro Road which will allow fire personnel easier access into and out off the station.
Said District One Councilwoman Angelique Ashby: “We look forward to opening the new fire station in late spring or early summer. Station No. 43 is much needed and will provide better response times to families living on the west side of Interstate 5 as well as providing support to the other Natomas area stations.”
