THE NATOMAS BUZZ received a text around 8:30 p.m. Monday night, asking about a Sac PD helicopter hovering over the neighborhood.
We dialed in to North Sacramento PD dispatch via our scanner just in time to hear the helicopter being cancelled, but didn’t know why until receiving this info about the call to Village 12 in northeast Natomas:
“possible burglary in progress at a house in the area.. caller overheard a female saying she was going to break into a house and then glass breaking. When ofcrs arrived, they found a female, but she was the resident who locked herself out.. 6161”
