The city is set reopen the Del Paso Boulevard floodgate today, the Department of Transportation has announced.
With the current river levels dropping and the reservoir releases staying steady, the floodgate should be open between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. today. A street crew will work to clear Northgate Boulevard between Garden Highway and State Route 160 of debris and mud.
This section of Northgate Boulevard, closed to traffic since on March 17, should reopen to vehicle traffic by 3:30 p.m. today.
