Vandals have destroyed the fun, graphic wraps on the two BikeLids at the North Natomas Library. This time vandals went so far as to unscrew a part of the BikeLid structure and remove it, leaving the pieces behind.
The North Natomas Transportation Management Association is looking into have the BikeLid structures repaired. Whether they will be re-wrapped has not been decided for fear of continued vandalism.
“It’s disheartening and disappointing that a few vandals will do something like this,” NNTMA program coordinator Sarah Janus said. “We were so happy to give the community something like the BikeLids. It’s too bad that a few people will ruin it.”
