The Sacramento Public Library will launch its brand-new Library Everywhere Wi-Fi Plaza next week at the North Natomas branch.
The new Wi-Fi Plaza offers outdoor seating and tables with shade umbrellas and expanded Wi-Fi access to all of the library’s online resources.
Library officials plan to hold a ribbon cutting and summer reading kick-off party 2 p.m. on June 4 for at the south entrance of the North Natomas library. The public is invited to celebrate the new outdoor space and the start of summer reading with refreshments, face-painting, eReader demos, prizes and more!
This project was also funded in part by the Friends of North Natomas Library and U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act.
