Next year’s budget and new district leadership will be discussed at tonight’s Natomas Unified school board meeting.
Discussing the impact of Gov. Jerry Brown’s revised budget proposal released last week is on tap as is hiring an interim superintendent to replace Bobbie Plough, who recently announced her resignation.

The board is also scheduled to vote whether to hire Douglas Crancer to replace chief financial officer John Christ, who is retiring. Crancer, currently assistant superintendent of business and facilities at Auburn Union school district, would assume the post effective July 1.
Tonight’s special board meeting is set to start at 6:30 p.m. in the board chambers at 1901 Arena Boulevard in Natomas.
