A group of Inderkum seniors in the AVID program recently left their mark on the “Authors of Our Own Destiny” sculpture on Del Paso Road. The new artwork features the AVID logo and incorporates a crown painted on the public canvass as part of the “Here We Build” campaign last month.
AVID – which stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination – is a college readiness program meant to increase schoolwide learning and performance. Click here for more info on the AVID program at Inderkum High School.
That looks like Gang related crap, not art. Where is this type of scribble even used? I don’t think Pixar or anyone of a good reputation would be looking for work of this nature.
