The Natomas Chamber of Commerce and City of Sacramento in partnership with the Sacramento Metro Chamber will survey Natomas-area businesses tomorrow.
A crew of volunteers will canvass local businesses to ask what’s happening with the economy and how conditions can be improved.
The goal of the Natomas Business Walk is to get first-hand feedback about economic conditions in the neighborhood and to use the information collected to enhance the success of area businesses.
Volunteers who are business people or agency staff will visit storefronts and business, asking owners and manager three questions:
- How’s business?
- What do you like about doing business in Natomas?
- How can business be improved?
“The Natomas Chamber is taking a proactive approach to help support businesses in Natomas,” said Ed Koop, board president of the Natomas Chamber. “The chamber and city are going to walk the streets not only to figure out what businesses need but also to let businesses know we care and are here to help.”
The business walk event set for 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on June 15 includes a breakfast and orientation session, three hours of business visits, a lunch and roundup session. The event will take place at Four Points Sheraton located at 4900 Duckhorn Drive and is free to registered participants.
