A Natomas marijuana grower was robbed at gunpoint and some of his crop stolen early yesterday.
On Thursday morning, at about 12:30 a.m, police officers responded to a home invasion call on the 5300 block of Janero Way, in Village 12 of Regency Park.
Police report two suspects entered the residence and robbed the resident, who grows marijuana for himself and medical dispensaries, at gun point. The suspects assaulted the resident, stole marijuana and fled the scene. The victim’s injuries were not serious.
The first suspect is described as a black man, 20 to 25 years old, about 5-foot 10-inches tall, 160 pounds, with a short afro hair style, black hooded sweatshirt and gray pants. The second suspect is described as a black man, about 5-feet 9-inches tall, 175 pounds, with short hair, gray jacket, black shirt and jeans.
The suspects were seen driving a newer red Dodge Charger.
