Sacramento police shut down a large party at a Natomas Park home late Tuesday night.
“Our peace cannot be disturbed. Residents should not hesitate to give us a heads up and report incidents like this one.” -Sacramento Police Officer
Word about plans for the party spread like wildfire on Twitter and Facebook earlier in the day. Posts with the address continued to appear online after police officers started clearing the scene at about 10:50 p.m.
The Sacramento Police Department and Paladin Private Security, which patrols the neighborhood, heard about the party and anticipated a large crowd. Police and security officers monitored the single-family residence on the 2700 block of Kalamer Street throughout the evening with officers nearby. Nearly 100 people reportedly arrived to the residence over a two-hour period.
Police shut down the party after making contact with the homeowner who asked the house be cleared out, officers said.
