Students at Hazel Strauch Elementary School in Natomas yesterday joined thousands of youngsters around the world stacking cups in hopes of setting a new Guinness World Record.
The Center for Fathers and Families organized the event held at the Strauch campus as part of the 2011 World Sport Stacking Association’s “Stack Up.” Students at Twin Rivers Unified’s Fairbanks, Woodlake and Castori schools also participated.
Strauch students also collected canned food donations for the needy at the stacking event.
