North-area police Capt. James Maccoun is alerting area residents to a series of attempted burglaries Sunday, Jan. 1 in Natomas.
In a message sent Monday morning to Natomas email lists, Maccoun cited three attempted burglaries – one on the 24X block of Eastbrook Way, one on the 26X block of Maybrook Drive and one on the 284X block of Flora Springs Way – all on Jan. 1.
According to Maccoun’s message, the “crew” of four suspects reportedly knock on the front door of residences before jumping the fence into backyards.
The suspects are described at four black adult males, all about 20 years old, and driving a silver Chrysler 300. Two suspects reportedly have short hair and one is described as having dreadlocks.
“Please call the Sacramento Police Department immediately is you see suspects matching that description in your neighborhood,” Maccoun wrote.
