An army of volunteer parents, teachers, and students worked over the past two weekends to spruce up the Heron School campus in Natomas.
About 100 volunteers in all planted more than 200 pots of flowers, spread 20+ yards of fresh bark, trimmed bushes, painted and more.
The K-8 campus is scheduled to host a visit from the California Distinguished Schools Program on Friday, March 16.
