Sacramento Police were dispatched to a report of a stabbing on the 300 block of El Camino Avenue Monday night.
Officers arrived and found a boyfriend and girlfriend got into an argument that became physical. The boyfriend stabbed the girlfriend with a broken piece of glass then fled the scene.
Officers chased, caught and arrested the suspect.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
