The Sacramento Police Department today arrested five suspects in connection with a series of Natomas-area home burglaries.
The incidents occurred in north Natomas and south Sacramento, including several burglaries reported between 10 a.m. and noon this morning in the Natomas Park neighborhood.
The homes targeted today were on Bilsted Way, Dreamy Way, Mabry Drive, and Rockmont Circle. Witnesses and victims provided police with vehicle and suspect descriptions.
While additional officers were called to the Natomas area to search for the suspects Sacramento police received a burglary-in-progress call in south Sacramento with a vehicle matching the one described in the Natomas spree. Officers arrived on the scene and apprehended several suspects.
Police believe the suspects were responsible for the burglaries earlier in Natomas. Five total suspects were arrested and some stolen property recovered.
The investigation is ongoing.
