Our total raised for Missions was $2160.00 – I’ll ask Sally about the graph. I’ll send some pictures. We raised money for MAF – Mission Aviation Fellowship. Founded in 1945, Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is an interdenominational Christian ministry serving isolated and unreached people worldwide. -medical flights, including emergency air ambulance service and lifesaving transport for villagers who otherwise have no access to healthcare. -Provide flights, logistics, and communications support for orphanages, schools, and hospitals, as well as for sustainable, small-scale community development projects in agriculture, health care, clean water, and construction. -DISASTER RESPONSE—Haiti: Fly critical supplies and passengers to outlying areas and refugee camps to support disease control, amputee rehabilitation, vaccination campaigns, hygiene and health education, emergency and chronic wound care, ongoing medical care (injuries, burns, cuts, chronic diseases), disease-carrying insect control, emergency shelter (tents, plastic sheeting, sleeping mats, etc.). Supplies to include, but not limited to, food, medicine, kitchen kits, beds, hygiene kits, water bladders, jerry cans, and water bottles. East Democratic Republic of Congo: Continue flight services for SIL, to support 10 Bible translation and literacy projects. We had 287 kids 86 volunteers Kids participated in singing, crafts, wild games, snacks, Bible stories creatively taught by “TSA Agent Tucker” and “Baggage Handler Fred”. Kids learned tangible daily lessons about Awesome God – Amazing Power! Amazing Wonders Aviation was a partnership with volunteers from Adventure Church and The River Church. Kids will perform some of their favorite songs on Sunday at 10:30 at Inderkum with the River Church and at 9:00 and 10:30 at Heron School with Adventure Church.
