Freebirds World Burrito announced today it will open on August 14 in Natomas.
To celebrate, Freebirds will give the first 25 guests in line free burritos for a year.
Freebirds is a fast, casual burrito restaurant also serving burrito bowls, salads, nachos and more.
In the days leading up to the opening, Freebirds and its charitable arm, World Works will hold the following pre-opening events open to the public:
- Saturday, August 11 Freebirds in Natomas will partner with the Make-A-Wish Foundation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The first 250 guests during each time slot will enjoy complimentary food and drinks in exchange for a minimum $5 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento and Northeastern California.
- Sunday, August 12 Freebirds in Natomas will partner with the Sacramento Food Bank from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The first 250 guests at each time slot will enjoy complimentary food and drinks in exchange for a minimum $5 donation to the Sacramento Food Bank.
The new Freebirds will employ approximately 45 team members from the local community.
The Natomas restaurant is located at 2281 Del Paso Road, formerly Qdoba, and will be open 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
