Cool Cuts 4 Kids in Natomas will close its doors permanently today.
The lease for the children’s hair salon was up for renewal, said manager Carola Barnett.
“We would have liked to have kept them,” said Rick Martinez, senior vice president at CB Richard Ellis, the marketing and leasing agent for the shopping center.
The decision not to renew the lease and close the salon was made official today, Barnett said. The store closes at 7 p.m.
Cool Cuts 4 Kids representatives said the salon was losing too much money to remain open, Martinez said.
The children’s hair salon has operated in a 1,500 square-foot space in the Park Place II shopping center on Natomas Boulevard for seven years.
Barnett and two stylists will go to work at Cool Cut 4 Kids store in Elk Grove.
