Natomas Cares: Cookoff Raises $5K

The Comstock Mortgage branch in Natomas raised more than $5,000 for Inderkum High School at a second annual rib cook-off event held last week.

Comstock Mortgage spokesman Monty Maxwell said Wednesday the Oct. 17 fundraiser was attended by approximately 350 people and generated $5,250. The money will be donated to the school as follows:

Last year’s event raised $3,500 was raised for the Inderkum athletics program.
