THE NATOMAS BUZZ | @natomasbuzz
The public will have a chance to ask those running for the Natomas Unified school board questions during a candidate forum being held tonight in Natomas.
Eight of the 10 candidates on the November 2012 ballot are scheduled to participate in the public forum presented by the NP3 High School student club Super PAC. Vice Mayor Angelique Ashby will represent candidate Vina Guzman who said she will unable to attend due to work-related travel.
The forum is set for 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today, Oct. 17 at the Natomas Pacific Pathway High School library, 3700 Del Paso Road, in Natomas.
(Audio from the first forum, held last month at The Club in Natomas Park, can be heard here.)
Candidates scheduled to participate in tomorrow’s forum include HK Allen, Michael Bedrosian, Karen Bernal, Briza Trujillo Cardenas, Scott Dosick, Ryan Herche, Sue Heredia and Bruce Roberts. Candidate Joshua Baker did not respond to the school group’s invitation to the forum.
Each candidate, or their representative, will have the opportunity to make a brief opening after which a panel will ask the candidates a series of questions.
Members of the audience will be allowed to submit questions in writing prior to the forum and these will be part of the final question and answer session at the forum. Candidates will be allowed to make brief closing comments.
