By Natomas Chamber of Commerce We are starting to book our monthly evening Mixers and morning B2B’s for 2013. Our mixers are held at member businesses and are great networking opportunities. If you would like to host a mixer please contact me. My contact information is below. Also, if you do not have a location but would like to host a mixer we can help you find another member to co-host with you at their location. Here is some information about our Mixers: B2B Mixer Held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. These mixers are more casual and admission is free for everyone. Hosts are expected to provide refreshments such as coffee, orange juice, muffins, pastries, fruit or some combination of that nature. Attendance has been ranging from 10-25 people depending on the location of the mixer and the time of year. Dates available are: 1/9, 2/13, 3/13, 4/10, 5/8, 6/12, 7/10, 8/14, 9/11, 10/9, 11/13, and 12/11 Evening Mixer Held on the 4th Thursday of every month from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Admission is free for members and $10 for non-members. Hosts are expected to provide refreshments such as soda, water, snack trays, finger foods or some combination of that nature. Host is also asked to provide at least one raffle prize. Prizes can be a gift card for your business, bottle of wine, etc. Raffle tickets can be purchased by anyone attending the mixer for $1 each or 13 for $10. Any members who bring a raffle prize will be given the opportunity to present a 30 second “commercial” where they get up and tell the group about themselves and their business. Non-members are not able to provide raffle prizes as that is a member only benefit. Non-members can purchase raffle tickets and participate in the actual raffling of the prizes. Announcements are normally made at the mixers about upcoming events and Chamber information. Attendance has been ranging from 10-40 people depending on the location of the mixer and the time of year. Dates available are: 1/24, 2/28, 3/28, 4/25, 5/23, 6/27, 7/25, 8/22, 9/26, 10/24, 11/21, and 12/19 Please contact me if you would like more information or to request a date.
