Natomas Cares: Facial Hair For A Cure

THE NATOMAS BUZZ | @natomasbuzz

A Natomas man has teamed up with family and friends on a quest to grow facial hair – that’s right, moustaches, handlebars, mos.

John Hyde and his son, American University student Blake Campbell-Hyde, are heading up the Coast-to-Coast Mo Bros team as part of the Movember campaign meant to raise awareness about prostate and testicular cancer.
During November each year, Movember is responsible for moustaches sprouting on thousands of men’s faces, in the United States and around the world.
Men start Movember 1st clean shaven. For the rest of the month, these Mo Bros groom, trim and wax their moustachery while seeking sponsorships for their efforts.

Mo Bros become walking, talking billboards for the month of November raising awareness and money for men’s health education, survivorship and research initiatives.

The Coast-to-Coast Mo Bros are nearly halfway to their $500 fundraising goal. The funds raised support programs run directly by Movember and health partners, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONGFoundation.
