Six Natomas-area athletes were recently named Tri-County Conference picks for the 2012-13 girls tennis season.
Inderkum High School student Eirene Granbille was named Tri-County Conference MVP.
Valerie Voong and Alex Wong from Inderkum along with Tejaswi Adhikari, Marissa Herrera-Rosalds, and Ashleen Rai were among 11 players who made the 2012 girls tennis all-conference selections, according to TCC Commissioner Ray Gutierrez.
The Natomas Nighthawks and Inderkum Tigers teams tied for second in the Tri-County Conference behind champions Yuba City High School.
