The Inderkum High School boys basketball remains in first place in the Tri-County Conference with a 55-51 win over Yuba City High School at home Wednesday, Jan. 30.
Terrence White scored 27 points and Nef Torres nine for the Tigers (15-8 overall, 5-1 TCC).
Meanwhile, the Natomas High School boys basketball team improved to 3-3 in TCC play with a 51-40 comeback road win against Woodland High School.
Jalen Manning (19 points), Jamison Lyons (11) and Phillip Morgan (10) helped fuel a second half Nighthawks (4-16, 3-3) comeback from a 25-20 halftime deficit. The loss knocks the Wolves down to second place.
Both Inderkum and Natomas High will be at home on Friday, Feb. 1.
Wrestling: Inderkum defeated Natomas High 51-18 in the final TCC duel for both teams on Wednesday, Jan. 30. Natomas and Inderkum finish with 1-4 records in league duel matches this season.
The TCC wrestling tournament is 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 at Natomas High.
