Sacramento police are investigating reports of someone impersonating law enforcement last night in the Robla area.
At about 9:58 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a report that a person was pulled over by suspects pretending to be police on the 4300 block of Pell Drive, a block east of Northgate Boulevard.
The suspects drove a black and white Crown Victoria and had a small red and blue light. The suspects reportedly had the victim exit the car, but when the two started laughing, the victim realized they were not officers and left the area to call the police.
Sacramento police found a vehicle matching the vehicle description and identified the driver. The victim could not be contacted to assist in identification.
The investigation is ongoing.
